About
Brief Overview:
This town is smaller in size having only about a couple thousand residents. It doesn't have any main exports as it's not near any valuable natural resources. This is more of a resting place that merchants and travelers often stop at while heading to a near by port or larger city. some of the traveling merchants decide to stay in wolfwater since it sees a lot of traffic through it and they find there is less competition here for selling their goods instead of setting up shop in a larger city.
Layout:
this town has 2 inns at opposite corners of the map. residential homes at the perimeter of the town and a large shopping district in the middle of it all. The shopping district consists of a bunch of tents and stalls around the outside that are set up for travelers who plan to temporarily sell their trinkets and outlandish foods. The inner part of the district has buildings where shops can set up who have plans of staying long term. it's all guarded and protected by a small town guard who have stations set up at the two main entrances to the town. Lead by commander yates the town guard runs smoothly and is most often out of peoples way.
things of note:
Something most people aren't aware of is this town has a very large dire wolf population living only a few miles away upstream. this group of dire wolves is lead by a lycan who is permanently stuck in wolf form. some people will see the occaisonal wolf walking by in the local woods but will often be surprised by the fact that no one has ever been attacked by one. very few are aware that commander yates and the lycan have a secret deal in place that prevents the wolves from harming any of the townsfolk.
